Heroes Among Us - Crandall Canyon Mine Disaster Memorial

Heroes Among Us is a new memorial to the men who lost their lives in the Crandall Canyon Mine disaster. Former nurse and now full-time sculptor Karen Jobe Templeton was selected as the artist to sculpt the monument that will reside on the road to the mine, in full view of the schoolyard where the families gathered to await news of their loved ones.
