CLIMB TO CURE CANCER: THIS WEEKEND IN SALT LAKE CITY

HERA’s Climb4Life fundraiser brings together professional rock climbers, cancer survivors, medical professionals, and those who’ve lost loved ones to ovarian cancer. The Climb4Life has raised over $1 million since 2001.

This weekend hundreds of Utahns will participate in this annual event.

Background: Ovarian cancer kills more women than all other reproductive cancers combined.
HERA is working to change that, funding research and exploring innovative methods of ovarian cancer detection and treatment.

What: An annual fundraising event that facilitates medical research to discover new directions in the detection, treatment, and prevention of ovarian cancer.

Who: Professional rock climbers, local participants and volunteers.

When: Friday, September 17, 8-10 am for best photo & interview opportunities.
